Privacy Policy

Peepaly is operated by Show 4 Reel Media Pty Ltd, a company registered in New South Wales, Australia, as part of the Simplaful family of products. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the current Peepaly prototype.

Today, Peepaly is a browser-based prototype. It does not create user accounts, run a backend service, or transmit your information over the internet. All business profile information, employee records, documents and settings are stored in your own browser's local storage on the device you are using.

This means your data stays on your device. It is not sent to our servers, processed by us, or accessible to anyone else unless you choose to export or share it yourself.

Because Peepaly runs entirely in your browser, we do not collect personal information through the application. The only information present in Peepaly is information you or someone using your device enters directly, including:

• Names, contact details, addresses and employment information
• Emergency contact details
• Tax file numbers, superannuation details and bank account information
• Uploaded documents such as contracts, tax forms, right-to-work evidence and identification
• Onboarding responses, notes, reminders and business preferences

This information is stored locally in your browser under the key kyp.state.v1. It never leaves your device.

• We do not create accounts or ask you to sign in.
• We do not process payments or store billing information.
• We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or third-party analytics.
• We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
• We do not run a cloud database, server-side storage or Row Level Security policies.

Peepaly does not use cookies to identify you or keep you signed in. The prototype uses your browser's local storage to save data between visits. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

We plan to offer a hosted version of Peepaly in the future. If that happens, a separate privacy notice will apply and will describe any account creation, cloud storage, encryption, retention and access controls that are in place at that time. The current prototype will not automatically move your local data to a hosted service.

You own the information you enter into Peepaly. Because it is stored locally, you are in complete control of it. You can export, edit or delete it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Because Peepaly stores data in your browser, the security of that information depends on the security of your device and browser. We recommend keeping your operating system and browser up to date, using device-level security such as a passcode or biometric lock, and avoiding shared or public computers when entering sensitive information.

If you enter information about employees or contractors, you are responsible for collecting that information lawfully, providing appropriate notice, obtaining any required consents, and complying with applicable employment and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Peepaly evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the application or on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
